I was with this company for 1.5 years because it was so cheap, but I might as well have thrown my money away.
At the time that you sign up for the insurance they are super nice, and then they start finding nit-picks with your insurance so that you're not covered. I had my insurance under my name because I thought this was the logical thing to do, and after A YEAR AND A HALF they tell me that if my car is under my mother's name, then the insurance should be too, even though she never drove it. I had been paying full cover insurance only to be told that if I were in an accident, I could not be covered because of this mistake. When I asked how was I supposed to know, she said it was my responsibility to know these things.
Obviously, I cancelled my insurance, and because I had paid so much, I was entitled to a refund. This refund is the hardest I have had to get. The customer is NEVER right here. Because I knew how sneaky they were, I made sure I wrote down their names, dates I called and time and what each of their associates told me. Every time I called they told me that the previous person I talked to was wrong, and would give me a new wrong way to solve it.
Needless to say, even though they charge large interests when loaning you the money in advance for a year's worth of insurance, I didn't get any interest for the money they owe me. It's been four month since I cancelled my policy and I still haven't gotten my refund. On top of that, every time I call I get blamed for something the past associate did, and so according to them, it's my fault I haven't gotten the refund.
These are irrational people, do not try to reason with them. They are rude and incompetent. One of the worst services I have EVER received.
Their BBB record shows that 19 complaints have been filed against them in the past 3 years, so that alone speaks to how they take advantage of their customers.
I wouldn't recommend this insurance even to my worst enemy.
