We hired Rob Shoenfelt at Accu Pro to do a full home inspection when we bought our house about two years ago. Working with him was a pleasure. His scheduler answered the phone immediately, and he called us back personally right away. We needed the inspection done on short notice because of a quick closing date, and he accommodated our needs. He showed up on time and was exceptionally professional and thorough. We have had several home inspections done around the country, and Rob was the easiest to work with, the most professional, and his report was by far the most objective and thorough. (If your real estate agent suggests an inspector, watch out! Many of them are not objective because they want to stay in the good graces of realtors. Hire Rob instead!). The house has worked out just as Rob predicted - no major unforeseen maintenance issues.
Rob has also been extremely valuable to us in a different capacity. Recently, we decided to put impact windows in our home, and we had all sorts of trouble with finding good, reliable window contractors in Miami. The company we ultimately used had many delays, and it turned out that we could not be in town for all parts of the installation, and we sort of lost confidence in the contractor. I called Rob to see if he could look over their shoulder and make sure everything was done correctly.
As before, he was fantastic. First, he answered my email within minutes and remembered who we were. He went to the house the very next day, when the final trim work was being done, and looked around both inside and outside. He gave us peace of mind my letting us know that the contractor was doing a good job, and he offered to go back to the house when they finished to make sure the last phase of installation went smoothly. His price for doing all this was extremely reasonable, and his work allowed us to feel comfortable with the window installation even though we couldn't see the final result in person. We are so grateful for Rob's help and plan to use him in the future.
