I dropped a number of pillows, cushions, a rug and more than $1,000 worth of fabric off with Ken more than a month ago. He said the project would be done in a week. It’s still not complete. He won’t answer the phone or return my calls. NEVER take anything to this business. Cons: He shouldn't get a rating - doesn't even deserve one star more

If you want to leave your furniture someplace for months on end and receive repeated lies and excuses from a rude, stupid, incompetent thief, this is your kind of business. The owner of this shop should be put in jail for scamming people out of money and destroying their furniture. He tore our chair down, lied to us repeatedly, then after 4 months just through it back together with the original material minus the stuffing, and returned it to us. He kept the deposit of $240 and now we are taking him to small claims court to get our money back. Plus he ruined our chair.\r NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I have talked to other upholstery companies since and they all said this guy is a scam. more

This shop owner lied repeatedly to us, saying that our chairs were ""almost ready."" Did not return calls. When my husband went to the shop, he found the chairs untouched against a wall. When we finally received them (after 5 months) the seats were lumpy. We had them re-done at another shop and they told us that the seats had been filled with SCRAP MATERIAL. This business does not even deserve one star--I strongly DO NOT recommend these guys to anyone. We had our furniture reupholstered a couple of years ago from them, which took several months (4) to complete the job, and since then we have had to take the two chairs back at least five times to have the legs repaired because they kept breaking off. The second to last time I was there they told me to put one of the chairs in the corner and not use it so much--I can't even use my own furniture! This last time they ""fixed"" the chairs they will have had them for well over 4 months. For a month I heard that my chairs were ready and going to be delivered the next day, but every time I called and talked to the owner to find out the status of things I got different answers and promises to find out what went wrong, but I never heard a word from him. I always had to do the calling, even showing up at the warehouse demanding to have my chairs back because they stopped returning and answering my calls. The owner doesn't take responsibility for anything even though it is his business--they are the most incompetent business I have ever come across! I still have not heard from them, and I do not have my chairs. Oh, and the sofa they reupholstered and had the springs replaced is horrible as well. The sofa is in worse shape now than when we took it to him in the first place. DOWN RIGHT AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! more

My upholstery job that Accent did really doesn't rate one star...but I don't have the option for less than one.\r I had to send my furnture back to have it completed and even then...I could have done a far better job!\r I just didn't have time to do it myself.\r \r \r I would never ever recommend this place! Cons: anything and everything...overpriced,terrible service,terrible craftsmanship....no value at all. more
