I've known alot of people that have gone here for services. I've seen some color, cuts and nails were pretty bad(My husband's Aunt went in for reddish brown and came out purple)....

Amazing Service 3/20/2019

I went to go and get my hair done. I was seen right away with no wait and the gentleman cutting my hair talked to me and asked exactly what I wanted and always stopped to see if it was what I wanted and if he needed to do anything else. Very kind and very professional. Teachers are amazing and the facility is pretty clean and organized. more

Scalp Irritation 7/20/2009

I suffered severe pain and scalp irritation after having corn rows put in my hair. Their were two girls working on my head. The first girl was doing fine but I guess she got tired and the other girl started braiding the left side. She was braiding differently and harder than the other girl and it is this side that is suffering the red, buring, irritated and pain. more

Don't be scared by one lousy review!!! 8/17/2007

Getting services from students is always risky because they are learning.They teach their students very well. If you want perfect don't be cheap. Go to a 5 star overpriced salon. If you want to help students to learn so they can become perfect then go to the Academy of Hair design. I have been a customer and a student so I can give a review from both sides. Purple hair is a one in 100,000 chance. I have never had a problem with my hair or nails. I have had services from students who were days away from graduation and from students who were nearly new. I've never had purple, green, or any other color of hair other than the color I wanted. Give them a chance. The teachers are really top notch!!! Kristel F. Local resident more

50/50 chance 4/13/2006

In my opinion, they need to train their students longer before letting them do the paying customers or else have a teacher there to fix mistakes and show them how it's done. more
