ACE is an innovative, specialty charter school dedicated to ensuring students with ASD have every opportunity to become lifelong learners by providing an academically-rich educational environment designed to support the unique learning needs of its students, grades K-5th. The Academy of Collaborative Education (ACE) is the product of a vision by co-founders Maddie Cannon and Joellen Freeman. Maddie was determined to provide her son, Ace, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, with an innovative education that would meet and exceed his unique learning needs. Joellen envisioned a tuition-free charter school where students with autism receive academic and best practice therapeutic interventions such as ABA.
