Academy Stables

Whoever wrote that review was probably the one getting sued hahaha. The trainer is a great rider. I've seen her train many horses, and I'm in awe every time I watch her ride. The stables have been great to me, and the lesson times are very flexible. Even though you can't ride during lessons there are two different arenas you can ride in. It's a beautiful very kid friendly place, and i will continue to go there as well!! Pros: great trainer, treats horses great, beautiful place to ride, Cons: indoor is a little small more

The owner and staff of this barn really keep it well cared for, as well as the horses. The lesson horses are well behaved and the trainer is a great teacher and is safety oriented. The indoor arena is not huge but is still used for jumping and keeps everyone warm for lessons. The kids love it there and we will continue to ride at Academy Stables. I could talk about this farm forever. The barn manager has a history, not a good one, to say the least. The trainer is not a very good rider..look at her form. The owner is a bit crazy and always trying to take someone to court. Just google the manager's name and see what comes up on the Fugly horse website. They think they are above the law and just proved wrong in court because they tried to get money from someone else. They will make new rules and you better make sure you read that contract before you sign it with them. You cant even ride in an arena when there is a lesson. This farm has a horrible rep in the Hunter/Jumper community. Pros: beautiful facility Cons: crazy management, poor trainer, bad owner, indoor isnt even big enough for 1 jump more
