We are a community of people who believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior for all mankind. Our desire is to grow to know God through what has been written in His Word and to learn how to worship Him from our hearts, without pretense or undue formality. We aim to live out our Christian lives in a way that is real, authentic, and honest. We acknowledge our flaws and imperfections and that we are all still in the process of becoming who God has made us to be.
We believe God loves mankind unconditionally, and that He gives us the opportunity to be in a right relationship with Him through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus took the guilt of man?s sin upon himself when He was crucified, and in exchange, He offers us forgiveness of our sin and a real, eternal relationship with the Father through faith in Him.
We believe that God the Father revealed Himself fully in His Son Jesus Christ. As Jesus lived and taught He represented the nature of God. We see in the life and teachings of Jesus, that God is not the author of evil and does not bring bad things into our lives. Jesus never once made someone sick,
instead, He healed everyone who came to Him. Jesus never caused hurricanes and earthquakes and destruction, instead, He calmed the storm. Jesus overcame every evil He encountered on behalf of mankind.
God has been misrepresented in various ways through the doctrines of men, but the writer of the book of Hebrews states it accurately when he says: The Son reflects God?s own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly. (Heb 1.3 NLT). Any theory of man must be filtered through this truth, and if it contradicts what Jesus taught us about the Father, we must dismiss it as error.
As we continue to study the goodness of God together, our lives begin to change and our faith begins to grow. We invite you to come and learn about Him with us.
