First I would like to say that laser hair removal really works. I have been going to Absolute Skin and Body(ABC) for 6 years, I have had several different areas of my body treated, all with great success. I had been fighting unwanted hair for years before I came to ABC. I entered a contest at a health expo and won a $500 gift card to ABC, it was a true $500 I didn't have to spend $500 to get $500, like some other places. The staff is wonderful, they take the time to explain the process of laser hair removal, and give great advice on how to maintain your skin in between sessions. They are very honest and truthful, They will not try to up sale you things you don't need, unlike other places.They have very reasonable prices. Before I came to Absolute Skin and Body I was very scared to try laser hair removal, but the staff explained everything to me and now I will not go anywhere else. I went to Absolute Skin and Body for laser hair removal on my chin and neck (I'm a woman). I had a few patches on my chin about the size of a quarter and on my neck about the size of a dime. The hair was dark and thick and I had been plucking it for a few years. I was told it would take ~8 visits. I was disappointed that I was charged the same rate as a man who would be having hair removed on his face and neck since I only had about 1/10th that amount. But if it had worked I would have been happy. I was very regular about going every 2 weeks for about 6 months. During every visit I mentioned I was disappointed with the progress, but I was told to just keep coming... it would work. After about 9 visits when I said I wasn't going to be coming anymore I was offered a discount that worked out to be about 15% off. After around $700 the hair is a little thinned out but the results are no where near what I had hoped for.
