Ab's Drive-In

first of all, just because you had one lousy expierience, doesnt mean you need to take it out on the company. sure, all they have is teenagers but thats what make the place great and the expierence unforgettable. Ab's is amazing, with great food and great service. If you dont do your part to ask if they had your fry sauce since you didnt hear the kid say it back, ASK, SIMPLY ASK. its not that hard. you shouldnt believe this lady. and just because you didnt have the expierience that your expecting doesnt mean you need to give bad reviews.. you need to grow up and be mature, if you had a family owned business you wouldnt like others to write bad about it, would you?! i dont believe so. thanks and you have a wonderful day. more

I was sick and have a sciatica so the last thing I wanted to do was cook. I took my son through the drive thru for dinner. Ordered burger fries and fry sauce. The kid tried to up-sell on a combo, then realized I didn't order a combo, so instead a repeating my order he just laughed and gave me my total. As we pulled away my son saw that there was no fry sauce, I drove around front so he could go in to get it. He came out empty handed because they hadn't charged us for it and so it would be 38 cents. I was quite angry at that, as I had ordered it, THEY didn't add it in and now I have to struggle to get out of my car to go pay for it with a credit card as I had no cash on me. I went to the counter and said I can't believe you would make me put 38 cents on a credit card for something that I ordered but YOU forgot to charge me for. The young cashier just stared at me. I looked up and all of the employees were staring at me. So I tossed my card down on the counter and sure enough, she charged it, 38 cents. Unbelievable! I am just done with this place. The food is always good but the employees are all teenagers who screw around and really just need to be properly managed. It also never takes less than 10 minutes to get through the drive up, even when there is only one car in front of you. Very sad... more

I have been to many a fast food resturaunt with the flash frozen burgers and frozen frys , i dont care how big the patty is, that dont make it good. Now at Abs its all fresh you see them putting the potato in the peeler and cutter frying them fresh, making the milkshakes, making the burgers and thier homemade fry sauce is awesome. the customer service is awesome, great family atmosphere. i wish i lived in utah for this very reason. try it, you wont regret it. This place had a fun atmospher, personal and friendly service was also nice - they smile and also say thanks. (almost unheard of in todays fast food world) Burgers we good, fries were great (Looked fresh cut ) fry sauce was really good aswell, fish and chips (the wife says were great) and she knows her fish and chips. We really like this place and from as crowed as it was we felt others did too. MMMM-Good! more

The only saving grace for this restaurant is their shakes, and their fries aren't bad either. As far as burgers are concerned the so called Fat-Boy is miniscule in size, it is more of a contradiction of terms. The double burgers at Mickey D's and BK are bigger than this burger, and even they pale by comparison to most of the other fast-food joints in the city. I would have to agree with one of the previous comments made, since I had the same thought, the burgers are almost identical at Ab's and Arctic Circle. Kid size to be exact. more

Typical Greasy-spoon mom and pop joint. Great burgers, even better fries, great shakes. Could use a few more shake flavors, though. Best Chili-Cheese Fries in town. Greasy grubby goodness. I had the Fat Boy burger, fries, and a caramel shake. The shake was excellent. Caramel flavor was not too overpowering and not too sweet. The burger was average. Tasted like a burger you would get at Artic Circle. Nothing special there. The fries were excellent! The fry sauce however, was nasty. I think Ab's makes their fry sauce with Russian dressing instead of ketchup. The result is a fry sauce that is orange and sweet. I didn't like it at all. This burger is wonderful. They use top quality products and cook the meal to order. Nothing is premade and everything is fresh. I love their unique fry sauce which I also like on my burger. Pros: great value, good parking, great taste Cons: far drive, ambiance not so good, needs better seating more
