I found Abracadabra in the local Yellow Pages after my garage door started malfunctioning intermittently. They charged me $85.00 to come out but the repairman only tightened a few screws, telling me that he couldn't find anything actually wrong with my opener.\r

It seemed okay for a short while, but then stopped working again a few days later. I called Abracadabra again, but they wanted another $85.00 to come back out because they ""don't warranty the work, only the parts."" When I told him that I didn't think that was a good way to run a business and that I wouldn't be recommendng Abracadabra Garage Door to anyone, his response was ""we're not in business to make friends,"" and he hung up on me.\r

As an 89 year old woman, I'm certainly not looking for friendship, but I do expect service companies to stand by their work. I will definitely not be calling Abracadabra Garage Door again and would not recommend them to anyone.
