Very Poor Management and Owner. Constant rotating coaching changes and management changes due to them also leaving gym. Would not know who coach was until day of meets. Coaches ...

BELOW THE BARRE!!! 4/18/2012

Very Poor Management and Owner. Constant rotating coaching changes and management changes due to them also leaving gym. Would not know who coach was until day of meets. Coaches spend more time texting on their phones at meets and practices than they do coaching. Owner is money hungry and charges 60% more for meet fees and coach fees than other gyms. Children we endangered due to unsupervision. Also interesting that Susan Barr left a review on this site and gave a below average rating. more

Great place for your children to grow!!! 11/14/2010

My child has studied both gymnastics and dance at Above the Barre. The dance teachers and gymnastics coaches are both amazing. Their love of children show in all of their interactions with the kids. The year end shows are entertaining and absolutely adorable. The kids are so cute. Love It. more

Best place in town! 10/22/2010

I would recommend Above the Barre to anyone. Everyone that works there is friendly and goes above and beyond to help anyone that walks through the door. The teachers are amazing with the kids and help them grow so much! Not only do they have dance but they do gymnastic too! It's the best place in and around town to go to! more

I Highley Recommend ATB 10/20/2010

ATB has a great staff and the students learn to their abilities. My daughter attends ATB and she adores it. I can see how much she improved. We recommed ATB if your find love dance or gymnastics :) more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! 10/19/2010

My child has been going to Above the Barre since it opened. She has always been treated with respect and kindness and has grown as a gymnast. She has learned much more than the art of performing, she has learned to be confident, kind, and well rounded. I thank all of her instructors and Susan Barr for allowing her to grow both as as an athlete and as a loving teenager. On another note, there happens to be 4 restrooms in the facility. more

I would not recommend this studio to anyone! The Director/Instructors very unprofessional! High turn around of Dancers/ Instructors. Attitudes and moral is horrible for a place of arts! One bathroom for entire dance and gymnastic building! very small waiting room. Insults to students amongst students and instructors. Lack of concern for the Children!!! List is long. more

I would never recommend this studio to any parent. Very unprofessional, child only learned a few dance moves all year, attitude from staff and dance rooms need remodeled. There are other fantastic dance studios in the area. If you have a concern with a child, they never return calls or emails and the list goes on and on. Cons: unprofessional atmosphere, staff attitude more

kids only learn few moves all year long after spending so much money. The instructor repeats the same things all year long at classes. Not a good place to send your kids to go for learning. Cons: repeat the same teaching all year along more

PARENTS ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN 7/29/2008

I RECOMMENDED ABOVE THE BARRE TO EVERY PARENT!!! THE INSTRUCTORS ARE GREAT AND THE CHILDREN NOT ONLY HAVE FUN , BUT YOU CAN SEE THE GROWTH AND KNOWLEDGE THEY LEARN FROM THE CLASSES. I THANK ABOVE THE BARRE FOR BEING HERE FOR OUR CHILDREN AND TO HELP THEM LEARN HOW TO BECOME A WELL ROUNDED DANCER!! Pros: EVERY CHILD IS IMPORTANT Cons: SMALL WAITING AREA more
