My whole family have been patients of Dr. Abou-Issa and we will never meet anyone like him. He is old school physician, you ARE NOT A NUMBER you are a PATIENT. While I have to agree you wait for a long time to see him, I can vouch and say that its because he TAKES HIS TIME TO see every patient. Isn't that the kind of physician we all want? You get what you pay for and that is the best. So if I have to wait 8 hours just to see him so be it. The others who complain about him are probably people who want written narcotics prescription which everyone knows that that is NOT the kind of doctor he is. Go seek some other doctor if that's what you want. more

My name is hope guillotte.I have been a patient of his going on five years. Three years ago I started having really bad stomach problems he found out with test that I was diagnosed with crones disease. I don't have insurance so seeing a gastro doctor was kind of impossible. Therefore he has been treating me with the proper medications. He is a very well outgoing doctor.if you are sick you better believe he will find out what is going on and he will not stop until its under control. His office staff are very nice and friendly and they are very organized. I look forward to many more years of him being my doctor. Godbless more

My husband has a terminal illness and Dr, Abou- Issa Fadi has neglected his health,His office staff is unorganized very unfriendly unwilling to help with any matter you may have.Dr Abbou Issa on the other hand could careless just as long as he recieves your money for no help what so ever.I would not recommend anyone seek his care for anything not even a band aid . more

Dr. Abou-Issa is an outstanding and competent physican in all of the Terrebonne parish. Dr. Abou-Issa saved a member of our family from dying of an illness that many doctor's could not diagnose. After visiting several physicians in and around New Orleans, they could not find what was wrong with her. A friend of the family recommended Dr.Abou-Issa, which at this point her health was deteriorating, and much to our surprise he diagnosed her with the "West Nile virus!" Thanks to Dr. Abou-Issa's competency he saved her life. I recommend him to anyone near and far. more

Dr. Fadi Abou-Issa was chosen as our primary car physician to my grandmother a few years ago. He has since saved her life. He discovered something abnormal just by a stethoscope listen in her lungs, and had her go get an x-ray, and sure enough there was a tumor in there and it was in its early stages. Dr. Issa stayed with us the whole ordeal and offered to help as much as he could, barring his busy schedule. He stopped by to see her a few times in the Chemo room when she had to have Chemotherapy. He is not only a good doctor, but a good person. He is the kind of doctor that listens to his patients and is very thorough and actually cares. I recommend him to anyone as a primary car physician. His office staff could be a little less lazy though, they could actually pay attention to the admission window when someone is standing right there. more
