Abols, Ingrid A, Md - Minneapolis Clinic-Neurology

I have been going to the Schapiro Center for MS, which is part of the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology for a few years. They are patient, incredibly knowlegeble and always have time for me. They work with me to make sure my needs are met and are great about explaining things and follow up. I never feel rushed or like any question is dumb. They truly care about me, and try to get to know me. I can always expect quick response to phone messages too! more

I was referred to this clinic of neurology from my regular doctor after having headaches for months. I am so dissappointed with the staff and service, that I would highly warn anyone to not go here if you can help it. I had a bad reaction to one of the medications that the doctor put me on, and when I called, they kept putting me into his "secretary's" voicemail. They don't have nurses you can talk to. His secretary told me to go to the Emergency Room! For vomiting! Then, they ordered a spinal tap. The doctor that did the spinal tap at the hospital told me to call the neurologist if I experienced severe pain afterwards. I did, and when i called, I was told to "hang in there" and to call back tomorrow if I "felt I needed to." I was admitted to the hospital that night due to such extreme pain and nausea. Bottom line...please find somewhere else to go. The people here don't care about their patients. more
