Took the family of 4 to Abita BBQ based on a recommendation of friends. This is a restaurant where you order at the counter, wait for your food, and then find a seat. I normally prefer to order off a menu while being served by a waiter/waitress; not a showstopper thought. Since the food is pre-cooked, you may not be able to get what you want later in the day. We tried the ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, and chicken salad. We enjoyed the restaurant's BBQ sauce with our ribs. All of the food was very good.
Pros: Good selection of BBQ meats
Cons: Limited availability of some menu items
