Areas Best Pet Boarding and Training Facility 12/7/2011

This place is awesome. Great care for your dogs and cats and one of the most innovative dog training programs around. A great value. Reasonably prices, great care, knowledgeable staff. They always let you take your dog to his or her accommodations both on drop off and pickup. They have a totally open door policy, no need to call ahead for tours. The owners have been in the business since 1958 and have lots of first class knowledge to share with their customers. My dogs and cats will go no where else. They run to get in and run right up to the staff. All we have to do is say the "camp" and they get all excited. Great website as well for booking your reservations on line. Pros: null Cons: null more

The message from Pet lover sounds so generic. I dont know if telling a pet owner to give a dog a frozen piece of chicken with bones in it is knowledgeable,chicken bones can splinter and get into a dogs blood stream. Being knowledgeable really doesnt matter if the animal isnt treated right. Perhaps some dogs are favored and arent mistreated but again go with what your heart tells you. Pros: null Cons: null more

I have two aging Labs that I love like children. I have know the owner/operator since our early childhood days when our Pop's served in the US Air Force. Pros: Trusted, Clean and Professional Cons: A bit of a drive from D.C. (but, I would not go elsewhere). more

Great Place for Boarding and Training 10/12/2009

I recently had my dog trained at Aberdeen Acres. What a difference. When he arrived he was very defensive, growled at people, I was embarrassed to take him for a walk or out in public. The staff at Aberdeen Acres worked with him, built his confidence, taught him basic obedience and modified all of his bad behaviors. At the end, they also trained me how to be a responsible dog owner and a dog handler. Me and my dog now work as a team and can go anywhere. Great job, great value for the money. Amazing knowledge of dog behavior. I would strongly recommend this place. Pros: Awesome Training Programs and Great Facility Cons: None more
