This company is the worst ever. As in other reviews i have read its the same thing. They came to my house in early 2013 and replaced a part for the AC which I found on the internet for 250.00. Abell's or Paul Revere charged me 785.00 plus 69.00 as a travel fee to get the part and then 129.00 as a regular travel fee. Grand total to replace 1 part 983.00. I checked with an independent and trustworthy Heat AC contractor and he said I got ripped off. The part alone could have been purchased by him for 300 max. I have unfortunately used this company in the past and spent over 2200 dollars and been ripped off. When I called the office and asked to speak to the owner Skip and ask about the overinflated price of this part, he would not even speak to me about it. He had the secretary tell me that the price is what he got it for and that Skip would not call me back. That is real professional courtesy. The contracts are meant to mislead and confuse people. BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY AND THEY CHARGE YOU FOR PARTS, DO YOUR RESEARCH. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF more

Very thorough and professional 8/19/2010

My experience with this company have been very good. Initially I contacted them when my 6 year old boiler failed on the coldest night of the year. The technician was very professional and thorough. I did sign up for the service contract, which compared favorable to the one that the gas company was marketing, and my boiler has been working without fail thanks to the annual cleaning and tune up. more

Never use this company 5/27/2010

I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about!!! I would never have used this company, had I known about their reputation beforehand. Beware of the additional charges after a quote, and the hard sell to sign up for their service contract. They look hard for anyway they can to charge additionally after giving a quote. READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY, THEY ARE SLY. Trying to get satisfaction from the owner is non-existent, he is extremely rude. Pros: none Cons: Price gouging, Unprofessional more
