Keep in mind. One of the major news, declared the State of NJ as #1 nationwide for being 'Corrupt'. -True-. This particular contractor is a handyman who talks a good game only! Fact 1: This owner accepted a deposit from a consumer and disappeared. Fact 2: This owner has difficulty maintaining his own property. Fact 3: Kickbacks is something he understands well. So, where are these reviews coming from? When you conduct business with this handyman, you do so 'At Your Own Risk'. more

Reliable. Fixed right the first time. 5/25/2011

I've been using them for my house and my investment properties for years. Porch construction, painting, masonry, basement waterproofing, roofing, repointing, brickwork, sidewalks. They show up on time, stay on the job until completion, clean up and then leave. Prices are competitive. Jobs are done right the first time. more

Very reliable 6/1/2010

I contracted Abbot O'reilly to dry my basement, install french drains inside and outside, install sump pump and re-grade the house surroundings. He did an excellent job, used the proper materials, showed up when he said he would, and finished the job and cleaned up well. Pros: Attention to detail, honest Cons: A bit expensive more

Highly recommend - Only contractor we trust! 9/22/2009

We've used Abbot O'Reilly for roofing repairs and to install a dry well. They also do masonry work and painting, among other things. Many of our neighbors have used them as well. We've always been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. Their prices do tend to be a bit higher than some other contractors, but in our opinion, it's worth paying a little extra, especially after having bad experiences with other contractors in the past.
