The Abbington is WONDERFUL helpful, patience, and their expertise made my son's wedding PERFECT!! Kathy is the BEST ever guides you along the way gently and knowledgeable of how to-make that final count. Kathy's suggestions of vendors is right on DJ's, Photography, chair covers, flowers, cake THEY HAVE IT ALL!! and price is extremely reasonable for ALL they offer. The banquet rooms are stunning and just perfect for pictures. more

Amazing food! 3/1/2008

With all the weddings I have been a part of, I think that I was most impressed with the Abbington. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the ballroom has beautiful crystal chandeliers! Pros: Food, ambiance, service Cons: nothing! more

SWEET AS HELL 10/14/2006

Nice banquet for a wedding in the suburbs 8/30/2006

I recently went to this banquet hall for a friend's wedding. I thought the food was pretty impressive, especially the salad. The room we were in was also well decorated and the staff was attentive to our needs. On the downside, they keep their banquet halls very chilly and despite the fact that we were going to dance in several hours and make the place a bit toasty, we had to suffer through the freezing cold for three hours because they couldn't adjust the air conditioning. The good news was, you can't hear through the walls here. I'd say I was mostly satisfied with the experience there. PROS: nice facility, decent food CONS: air conditioning too high, bathrooms are crowded on busy nights more
