I have had nothing less than total cooperation from the administrator and the staff concerning my fathers care, Yes it's not the perfect environment because it is not his home, however it is the next best thing! When my father could no longer care for himself and needed assistance with everyday living needs, we decided to place him in an --Assisted-- Living Facility, There he was met with the utmost respect and care one could expect. I have found the staff have often times gone to extremes to meet some of his needs and wants. He has been there for three years and now calls Abbe Hall his home. If by chance one day he would become gravely ill , or need total care, I would then have to consider a Nursing Home . Thank you for all you do! more

This facility mixes mentally ill with elderly. Our loved ones personal belongings all went missing. When we contacted Marianne, the administrater, with concerns, she did not return our phone calls. When we did finally speak with her, she wouldn't even admit to owning the facility. Our family member was unkempt, and the room was nothing less then dirty. I cleaned it myself this weekend. Laundry piles up in the basket on the chair, the dust is thick, the floor is dirty, and there was no light bulb in the lamp. That didn't matter though, because the electrical outlet had no cover, and didn't work anyway. Our family member also has a horrific bed sore, and the facility was reported to the state by LV hospital. Save yourself some sleepless nights, and don't send your loved ones here. more
