I had a horrible experience at the Aaron Brother's store in La Canada. I placed two custom framing orders (totalling close to $300) and one of the frames came back with two big scratches on it. It was a time sensitive order as it was a gift for my husband. The sales associate noticed the scratches and told me that they would rush the order out and get it redone. I understood that accidents happen and just wanted the frames done. I appreciated that they were going to expedite the order to get it fixed. I was told the manager (Ashley) was out, but would call me the next day to let me know when I could pick up the frame. I didn't hear from the manager the next day. I called back after a few days and the same sales associate told me that she was ""shocked"" that the frame was still sitting there, that the manager had tried to fill the scratches in with black marker, that it hadn't worked, and that a new order had NOT been placed. I said that was unaceptable, that I was very unhappy, and that I needed the frame done. The sales associate told me the manager was not around, but that she would call her to get this taken care of. The sales associate called me back right away and let me know that the frame would be done in a few days (by the following Wednesday) and that I would get a phone call when it was done. No one called me on Wednesday. I called on Thursday and spoke to the same sales associate who told me ""you're not going to believe this, but your frame is still sitting in the back with the scratches and it has my note to the manager on it."" The sales associate also told me that she had personally followed up with the manager about my order, had informed her that I was upset about the delay, and that the manager's response was that ""she hadn't gotten to it yet."" Seriously??? I had to call the district manager who finally straightened the situation out and gave me a $100 discount (after I asked for a discount). At that point, it really wasn't about the money -- my gift was already late and the headache of trying to get this thing done had already taken its toll on me. On top of all of this, when I went to go pick up the frame, Ashley (who was finally in the store) gave me an attitude when I told her about the $100 credit and told me she had ""no idea what credit I was talking about."" Wow. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else to get your custom framing done!
