AT&T Store

Went in this afternoon to pay bill and buy a new iphone case. As I waited in line (I was SUPPOSED to be next) the girl behind the counter looked right at me and said i will be with you in a minute, I thought she was going to the other side of the store to maybe ask a question but she took the guy who was waiting behind me and helped him. OK maybe he was younger and better looking than me but that was unacceptable. I waited for this guys transaction to finish and she made sure that he take the survey which she said was really about how well she serviced him (giggle giggle). Finally next in line. NO. She looked at the GUY again in the line next to t me and decided to help him before me. I lost it, and she lost a customer. I wish I had gotten her name. RUDE RUDE RUDE little le girl behind the desk. No customer service. Do you know how many wireless companies are out there. You have one less customer. more

This is an AT&T ""core store"" - they are apparently run directly by AT&T - not a ""local"" subsidiary, like the one in Westfield - which is privately owned. This makes a big difference. I had received a new phone, and shortly thereafter realized I hated it. I called ATT customer service and was advised that I could trade it in at a ""core store"", for no additional charge. I tried the ""local"" one - and learned that they could not provide the services I needed. The West Springfield store was great. They didn't give me any trouble, they could not only take the old phone, but since I had bought accessories, and still had all the receipts, they took those as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did show me the new iPhone, but they weren't pushy, and let me look around as long as I wanted to, answered all my questions, and were not pushy at all to get a more expensive phone or plan than I wanted. They were really great - AND - they looked up a discount program for me, though my employer, that I didn't even know about! Saving me a good bit of money every month - they were great. more
