SBC is the greatest park ever!!! 4/7/2005

The great part about SBC is that it is not a lopesided park that is only good for hitters or for pitchers. This park plays fair for both sides. What other park do you commonly see ""Splash Hits"" and also see some of the best defensive games. No seat in the house is a bad seat, I just sat in section 327 row 18 the highest you can get and enjoyed just as much as sitting by the 3rd base line. Garlic fries are to die for!!! Seats are comfortable, and all parking is close, or even better take BART to the game. SBC will always be my favorite park, better than Yankee stadium. BEAT LA!!!! more

I ADORE THIS BALLPARK!!!! 9/23/2004

I grew up in a city with a MLB team that played in a dome made for football. All the whiner's here should have to sit in that park, they'd be CRYING in their 3.2 beer to be back in SF! I love this park so much, like my new home city it has so much character - it's beautiful, the views of McCovey Cove, this ballpark plays the GREATEST MUSIC!!! I don't care how much the beer is - there is the best selection of imports & micro's and the team absolutely rules. I love them - I come early and I stay until the end of Tony Bennett's ""I Left My Heart In San Francisco"" is done playing. I've love the park, the game, the team and I adore living here. I finally found my ""real"" home and SBC is a HUGE part of my life in SF. Pros: Magical Ambience, AWESOME TEAM, Great beer selection Cons: , NONE, NONE more

Love the Ballpark - Ignore the Yuppies 11/27/2002

I'm a Giants diehard. The Park already is a classic. Go to a night game. Bring your parka. Walk around the park and enjoy the views of McCovey Cove, The lighted Bay Bridge, the Coca Cola kids lot and the San Francisco skyline (from the upper deck concourse). Pass on the foo-foo food. Let the wine sipping/cell phoners have that. Understand that not a lot of diehard Giants fans go because the yuppie crowd (they think a dugout is some sort of canoe) MUST. Enjoy the ballpark. Take public transit. Pros: Views, Old Ballpark Feel, Hot Dogs Cons: Food is expensive, Don't drive!, Cold Weather more

Great Place To Catch A Game 7/22/2002

The only folks who won't enjoy Pac Bell Park are Dodger Fans. An uninterupted view of play from anywhere in the Park, the seats are easily accessible, roomy and comfortable (No need to feel a familial connection with the fans on either side). And the Stadium!!! Kuddos to the designers! In building Pac Bell Park, the designers built a fan friendly stadium that includes a kids park, free viewing area and an interesting place to watch a game. Unlike Dodger Fans, Giants Fans stay until the last out. Probably because Pac Bell Park is downtown and provides an easy escape; ""beating the traffic"" is a not a problem. Pac Bell Park joins the Golden Gate Bridge and Cable Cars as another San Francisco must see. Pros: A SF Must See, No Bad Seats in Park, Easily Accessible Cons: Bad 4 Dodger Fans more

The SF experiance 7/16/2002

Being from Ohio I was not sure what to expect...We purchased tickets on line from the giants web site. These where re-sale season tickets. When we got there, the seats were wonderful. All of the employees were helpful from the ticket agents to the vendors. The stadium is easly accessable by public transportation so parking would not be a problem. The only negative is the expense of concessions. We have been to several ballparks, this is by far the most expensive. Pros: online ticketing, good services, friendly employees Cons: very expensive more

Stop your crying you little pansies. 7/10/2002

This is directed at all the whiners that like to complain about this ballpark: Pacific Bell Park is a treasure to the city of San Francisco. This baseball stadium has rejuvenated an area of a great city like nothing else could have. The stadium is one of the most beautiful and unique in the country and still people find things to complain about...fans with cell phones, the food, beer prices...give me a break. This is an enjoyable experince to almost everyone who has been to the park, except for you whiny little babies that like to complain about things even when NO ONE IS LISTENING! Do us a favor and go home and watch the game on TV if you hate Pac Bell Park so much. If you aren't going to enjoy it, stay home and leave your tickets available for those who do. Pros: Views, Atmosphere, Everything else Cons: People who complain, about it, only one B.Bonds more

Great Park 5/19/2002

More than just a sports arena -- a good place to run into old friends and check out the Bay Area sports scene (obviously). Wish I didn't have to wait so long for garlic fries, but it's all about anticipation. more
