WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! 3/2/2016

My cat has long cotton like hair that gets matted easily between seasons so we usually get her shaved. We brought her in for a sedation and a lion cut, we had tried a regular groomer before but it was to stressful on my cat to get it done again without the sedation. They didn't tell us there would be any problem with her when we had talk to them before hand (we had her records faxed) However when we got there they told us that since she wasn't up to date on her rabies shot they wouldn't treat her. Not only is it stated in her file that she can't have vaccines because she had such a bad reaction to the last one it nearly killed her, but it is NOT a state law in Michigan that a indoor cat has to have a rabies shot. She then proceeded to tell me that if my cat were to bite her (don't know how a sedated cat would bite you but okay) They would have the cat euthanized cut her head off and send it to lansing. I don't know what kind of a person would say that to someone but I won't be back. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a vet or with a person in general! In my opinion they shouldn't be allowed around animals! more

They opened their heart to me during an emergency with my baby Midge 6/12/2013

On my daughters recommendation I made a call last night to see if there was anything I could do with my og who was drinking tons and urinating profusely...They said, COME RIGHT IN...so we did...From the time I walked in until I left I felt that this doctor and his staff were about the only ones in my many years of dog ownership that CARED ABOUT THE ANIMAL AND THE OWNER.....They were sooooo compassionate and wonderful and very supportive to me. They gave me a good, family feeling when I left there like my Midge was part of their family and they really showed love towards her and MYSELF....I left that evening with a feeling of I did everything I could for her and the doctor picked up where I left off and helped her as much ashe could The rest was up to Midge. Unfortunately about 5AM this morning Midge decided that insulin was not her way of living and she left this world and left me a better person for having the opportunity to be her mom for 9 years. BUT TO THE DOCTOR and HIS STAFF I THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY SAD HEART....I will highly recommend you and will come to you with my other fur baby...Thank you for your compassion JACQUI HEWSON and MIDGE more

Kind, Clean, Affordable, & Excellent Diagnostic Capabilities! 2/12/2010

A Quality Care Vet has provided a wonderful experience for us and our dogs. Their facility is clean, the receptionist and vets are kind, and their prices are affordable. Most importantly, however, they truly deliver on diagnostic services. We brought our parvo-positive dog to A Quality Care, and he was quickly diagnosed and treated. This included an overnight stay. They also waited for an opinion from the second vet in their practice before performing any invasive procedures; we greatly appreciated this conservative approach. more
