We purchased about $5000 of furniture from A+ Furniture’s salesman Henry Dam. The furniture we ordered included a dinning table set, a bedroom set and an end table.
Two weeks later, a cheaper brand of mattress was delivered to us with the furniture. (Not the name brand that we ordered & paid for on the invoice) I called Henry & he told me that it will take about another 3 weeks to get the name brand mattress I ordered. He had 2 weeks to tell me this, but he did not even give me a courtesy call to inform me. Instead he tried to pass the lower cost brand mattress as the more expensive mattress & hope that I would not find out.
We also found scratches on the dinning table, chairs & end table. I called the salesman Henry again and he promised me they are all new furniture & not floor samples. He said the mover probably scratched the furniture accidentally during moving or setting up the furniture.
The dinning table set we ordered includes 8 chairs. But only 6 chairs were delivered to us. 2 of the 6 chairs were not even level (each with a shorter chair leg). I had to bring the 2 crooked chairs back to the A+ furniture for adjustment. (At this time I only have 4 of the 8 chairs I ordered & paid for.)
I went back to the store to return the 2 chairs & found their floor sample dinning table set & end table were gone. Guess what ? they sold us their floor sample furniture as new furniture & lied about that. (Including a dinning table, chairs & end table) Later that day, I found the manufacture stickers on the dinning table & chairs. The dinning table was ordered & manufactured in 2006. Two arm chairs are probably new & have 2008 dates on their stickers. The rest of the chairs have the 2006 dates on them.
This is my worst furniture buying experience. I will tell all my friends not shop from this store.
