I'm qualified to say this, I've been here for 11 years. Oh Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi. For business reasons and before buying another home my wife and I have hung in. They're starting to rent-jack a rate for the first year then blam. When they built this cardboard in 1989 the developers ran hot and cold pipes together in the complex. I have to run cold water in all rooms for 6 minutes to just get any cool water. The toilets turn black with mold because warm water sits in them and have to be cleaned several times a week. The doors are made of pressboard and everything is stapled. Staples on the frames pop out and tear clothing. There are mice in the walls that I listen to scurrying around every night. There used to be a real clubhouse till three years ago watch big screen, couches and such. Now it's rows of leasing desks for the big pitch. Then comes the third party grounds crew that show up with twenty people that need employment and cut the air, blow invisible leaves and do make work on our rent payments. The staff are shut-ins and don't care if kids are bouncing on the tennis net or older ones partying in the pool regularly at two in the morning. Belly up and sign on the dotted line. For this year lease it's up 5.3% and as they said non-negotiable several times like a parrot.
