Rockford is not likely great lifestyle but that Showplace is highly recommened to go to watch the threatre and I would always feel comfortable over there. Pros: Refill popcorn & pop Cons: Expensive food more

Showplace, should show more 9/11/2002

It is a nice theatre, but it it's way out of the way if you live in the heart of rockford. It always seems extremely dirty to me. And although their selection of movie probably satisfies the regulars that just want to see the next box office hit, they never have art films, or independant films playing. The Best of the Best !! 6/5/2002

Showplace 16 is the best of the best in town. If you want to be blown away with a great sound with your movie this is the only place to see a movie in Rockford. It has the best seats around as far as comfort. Showplace has the biggest movie selection anywhere around here. I will not go any place else to watch a movie.
