Great Value (the tickets)! 1/14/2007

My husband and I are new to the Raleigh area and were looking for a ""cheap date""- this was the place! The tickets are only $1.50 and we saw a somewhat new release (maybe a month behind). The theater is clean, the employees are friendly, and it was PACKED! Obviously this is a popular place.\r The snacks, however, were expesive, but hey, no need to complain- it was a great time! Just bring your own snacks via smuggling them in a purse or go out for a bite to eat after the show:0) Pros: Cheaps tickets and good movie selection Cons: Expensive concessions more

This is a great place to see that movie that you weren't quite sure if you wanted to pay $8 for. If its bad you walk out and you lose $1.50, big deal. Great for afternoons and weekday nights, don't go Friday or Saturday, too crowded and not a lot of organization as to how they let people in at the ropes, can get a little tight and pushy. Pros: Cheap Cons: Crowded on weekends more

The new Blue Ridge is great 4/18/2005

I Think the renovations at Blue Ridge are fabulous. It is still $ 1.50 for a movie ticket and the theater is really clean and comfortable. Although it is crowded on the weekends. You can go during the week and have a wonderful movie experience. I would highly recommend this theater to anyone. Pros: Cheap, Friendly, fun Cons: Long lines on weekend more

Complaints? Oh, please! 10/24/2002

I have little patience with most complaints about this theater. What can you expect for the price? IT'S CHEAPER THAN A MOVIE RENTAL! It may be the best entertainment value in the Triangle. I've saved hundreds of dollars over the years just by waiting a few weeks or months to see a particular film. And I get to feel stronger by ignoring the overwhelming hype surrounding most movies. Pros: Cheap, cheap, cheap Cons: older film print, crowded wknd nites more

cheap, but bring a sweater 7/10/2002

great for a cheap date night(especially when you have to pay the sitter, too. my biggest beef- other than the disgusting restrooms, is the fact that it is always subzero in there. much colder than most other theaters. the setas rea reasonable comfortable, and they always have a good selectiont o choose from. buy your tix ahead of time for fri or sat eves, though- they sell out fast. Pros: cheap, good selection, comfortable seats Cons: freezing!, gross bathrooms, long lines peak times more
