By Amarie W.\r I would have to say I am also surprised of the critique given to Yolanda. I was also a walk in and she was more than happy to cut my hair and she was a sweet person. I walked in about 5pm and had to pick up my daughter by 6pm across town. She cut my hair as I desired and styled it. My cut was a bob and and she also teased it for me. I have to say I was complimented about my hair everywhere I went that afternoon. I do have to agree she did cut my hair quickly and I was able to pick up my daughter on time. Thanks so much and I have to say I will return to Salon 2000. Claudia I do have to say I think you were just having a bad day. Sorry! more

I am more than a little surprised at the negative critique of the haircut done by Yolanda at Saloon 2000. I've known Yolanda for fifteen - twenty years. I followed her from Penny's to Saloon 2000. I absolutely love the way she does my hair. When I have a special event to attend, my first thoughts are to set an appointment with Yolanda.Claudia was right about one thing - Yolanda is quick. When she touches my hair there are no wasted movements. She clip-clip-clips and in a few minutes she has completed the task.I am well acquainted with another lady who is a long time customer of Yolanda. She is an older lady and uses a walker. she dearly loves Yolanda. She has the resources to go anywhere in town that she wants but she enjoys Yolanda the most. I was so impressed when I found out that she drove out to pick up her special customer and do her hair for a special party. When I get a shampoo and set, it looks nicer and stays longer than any one I've ever had. Thanks to Saloon 2000 and to Yola more

I had an appointment for 5:30 and waited and waited and waited. I should have left, but I really needed a hair cut that day. Finally, after 7:15 I got to have my hair cut by a woman who was in such a hurry that she completely jacked my hair up! All I wanted was a TRIM of what I already had. Which was a very simple hair cut. She gave me a completely different hairstyle. She teased the back of my hair and gave me a bouffant style that even 60 year olds wouldn't be seen in anymore. When I got home I figured out why. The back "layers" were completely crooked. \r \r I guess I had the misfortune of being the last person of her day and she seemed be in a hurry. Someone kept calling her on the phone and she kept reassuring them she was on her way. But it was too late for me to get out of her chair. \r \r It was a cheap $30 haircut and I got every penny's worth. \r \r My recommendation is that if you go there DO NOT go to Yolanda. Especially if its anywhere after 5.\r \r I got treated like crap and P more

I am in awe by what the people at Salon 2000 can do. I have seen them work on lots of hair and it always comes out looking fabulous. I will not go to any other place to get my hair done. i fully trust Salon 2000. more
