My experience with ADT home alarm systems has been really pathetic; I got their monitoring devices installed a couple of years ago and their systems was having problems starting from faulty equipment to bad Customer Service. I was lured into getting ADT by their representatives who promised to offer me the best protection and Services. more

We moved into an apartment that already had an ADT alarm. When the technician came out to reactivate the system, he only had to make minor adjustments to the positions of certain sensors even though the system had been dormant for 5 years (the tenant before us hadn't used it). I was really impressed that the system was still in great shape even so many years later! more

Since July 2008 I owned an ADAT ADT-200A. I tested the transceiver on my Optibeam and it works very good. It has a clear audio and the filters works precise and sharp. The reports on the band are always good. One of the best QSOs was Ecuador with 50 watt. Also the predistortion of the TX signal works well. It is a good digital transceiver without the need of a pc. I hope that within the next firmware, Hans implement some new features. He does a fine job ! more
