My home owners insurance saved me 10% with this alarm system. I had it for over three and a half years and only had one problem. I was once called at work to go to my house because the alarm had sounded and the police were on their way. I had to drive over 15 kilometers in heavy traffic, and drove like a madman. When I arrived there were two police officers with guns drawn wanting me to open the door to my house. Needlesss to say we deduced that a burst of wind may have tossed the curtains, which set the movement sensors off. It made sense seeing there was no other explaination. A technician came to check the system and slapped me with a $80 bill, and did nothing! That's when I decided to drop the monitoring. My insurance went up, but it's still less than I paid for monitoring. If it makes one have peace of mind, then there is no price for security. I would highly reccomend it! more

Hi there, I actually don't have enough history with ADT to give a real review of there alarm system but I wanted to say that I just got an alarm system installed and my first impression was that if there installers are anywhere near the service then I feel great! more

You are just amazing. I thought i will be wasting my money but it was worth it. I should tell you that you should choose ADT over the other alarm systems. It has a 2 way voice audio equipment great technology! remote controlled wireless equipment! I got a great Deal! more

Since July 2008 I owned an ADAT ADT-200A. I tested the transceiver on my Optibeam and it works very good. It has a clear audio and the filters works precise and sharp. The reports on the band are always good. One of the best QSOs was Ecuador with 50 watt. Also the predistortion of the TX signal works well. It is a good digital transceiver without the need of a pc. I hope that within the next firmware, Hans implement some new features. He does a fine job ! more

I got their system about five months now, but I am experiencing a lot of trouble with my alarm. I tried contacting their support system and they have been helpful too but I just cant afford to get this trouble all the time. Its still good though! more

The alarm Trips off very frequently and the company never informs us. This is just very bad for the customers and my investment is wasted! I really had problems with my bills. It is increasing and I do not know why. I ask for explanations but it was never clear to me. more

I have experience with 3 alarm companies so far. The first 2 were two local companies and the third one was a big shot in Canada. I lost my faith in security companies. I had a huge loss of money and time. ADT is the only company who could help me out with my security. more
