ADT home alarm is a terrible service. At one point we were comfortable with the service. One of their representatives came 2 months back to upgrade their system and then the system started having troubles. That day itself the alarm turned on without any provocation. But there was no response from them. more

hesitant a bit 3/7/2013

Well I was a little hesitant after reading the yelp reviews on ADT, but when a friend recommended a particular agent I thought I would give him a try. We had already had one pushy annoying salesman from another company that we had trouble even getting him to leave us alone. more

helpful customer service 2/28/2013

ADT’s free home security review was really valuable for showing us possible points of entry and things that we could make safer around the house and customer service has been helpful. I definitely recommend ADT to anyone considering home security – and don’t wait for a crime to happen first like we did! more

completely happy 2/5/2013

I have been with ADT going on 11 years. I had the system installed because of a psycho next door neighbor (they have since moved - thank God) and this system has been my life saver not to mention my peace of mind. Unbiased - I am completely happy with them. Their response time is excellent and their customer service has always been prompt with helping me with billing questions, referrals or upgrades to my current system. more

I feel comfortable now 1/18/2013

I live in Minnesota but my mother (she’s 87) lives in Florida. She’s had a lot of medical problems but is still pretty much independent and refuses to go into an assisted living home. Still I didn’t feel comfortable with her all alone there and I looked into services that could fix the problem and ADT seemed to offer the best combination for the best price. I don’t have to worry about an intruder getting in and she can call for an ambulance from her emergency pendant no matter where she is in the house! I am so glad we found ADT! more

Statistics show that a home protect by the ADT alarm services has one of the fewest attempted burglaries than any other company. The reason for this is very simple… Thieves know exactly how effective ADT is and they choose to move on to easier targets. more

ADT may be the biggest and the oldest home security providers in Canada and USA covering over six million customers ranging form the commercial and residential sectors. I have one question to all the customers who have installed ADT home alarms i.e. Are you receiving the kind of service for the money you pay for? because I DO NOT. more

home's safe 10/13/2012

My house got broken into 2 days ago and i called this ad because of the reviews. Lacy came out the same day i called and gave me a good price. the system was installed the next day. I wish i would have thought about home security before i got robbed. It is a good thing to know that America has ADT because it helps us keep our home safe. more

no false alarm 10/3/2012

He did the work quickly and cleanly and made a small change to the installation plan to ensure best protection. The idea of a monitored alarm is that, instead of a noisy bell ringing outside and being ignored, a central office receives an alert about the alarm system and takes the necessary action. Before calling the police or whoever out they will try to contact the householder to establish that there hasn’t been a false alarm. more
