I signed up for Embarq's free tv for a year bundle with internet and phone. Dish is the satelite network for this special. ACS is the company installing the Dish. I ordered the service on July 2nd. The installation date was set for July 11th. The installer showed up, only tell my fiance that he could not install the dish because I was not present. My fiance called me to tell me the installer would not install until I called the office to add his name to the account. I called the number the installer gave only to have the office tell me they would not add his name to the account and that they were rescheduling my appt. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, I was mysteriously disconnected. The installer said they would be back out the following Monday to install when I was there. I took off work to wait for the installer myself. He never showed up. I called the 800 number only to be told that I was not scheduled to be installed until the 18th. Ok...I again, took off work, only to be stood up yet another time. No phone call, nothing. I called the 800 number again...""you didn't fax your rental permission form in""...and I was told this when? Again, rescheduled. Rental agreement was faxed in but, mysteriously the fax was never recieved so guess what...right...rescheduled. Spoke to 800 number again, was told everything was good to go for thursday july 31st. between 12 and 5pm. Wednesday about 3:30 ACS calls to say, we didn't recieve your fax and unless it is recieved by 5 today, we will reschedule you...i again complied, confirmed fax was recieved. Here it is Thursday, July 31st...5:03 pm...guess who hasn't shown up...ACS! I will never recommend them to anyone...HORRIBLE!
