ABC Animal Hospital

i called the hospital awhile ago and talked to an older lady__she was very helpful and recommend the hospital to any pet lovers more

I have used ABC animal clinic for years and I prefer larger breeds such as Rottweilers and Boxers and the Dr. has never been afraid of any of them. I had a very large Rottweiler that was an abused rescue dog and Dr. Bhandaal was always very gentle with him and if yo think about it the things that get done with the animals no one can comfort them more then their owners. When I take my kids to the MD I do not expect the MD to hold my kids it my responsibility. So why should I expect my VET to coddle my dogs. more

I agree with the other people, I brought in my 4lb chihuahua and he was scared to touch him because i said he was a little nippy...I mean he is 4lbs with no teeth!!! Regardless he barely touched him and just had me hold him while i told him his history than recommended antibiotics. I was very disappointed and felt lacking with the service i was provided. The only good thing that came out of it was that he recommended UC davis small animal hospital, which I love!!! more

I am been going to Dr. Bhandaal for three years... I have a cat and dog and he is great with them... I cant believe people would say that he is in the field for the wrong reason. He is low cost and works with his clients.. I needed a surgery and couldn't afford. He let me pay part of it at the time of pick up and worked with me for the rest. When all other vet in the area were gonna let my pet suffer. For people to say those kind of things is outrageous. He doesn't try to sell me the entire hospital for something simple and his staff is amazing.. I think some people are just to blind to see something good when its right in front of them.. But whatever go to other vets that really are there for the wrong reason and want you to spend all your money there... Pay your outrageous prices and be unhappy when they are willing to work with you... more

Wow, what's wrong with the other reviewers? We've been taking our cats in for several years, and the vet has been great. He handles the pets well and is gentle. Every time one of our cats have had a problem, the vet has been extremely helpful. We've always had a positive resolution for our cats' health probs. A perk is that you can have follow-up appointments a week after the initial appointment for free. I've read stories on the web about vets basically ripping off clients, but I feel as if this vet is very honest and does not take advantage of the pet owners. The vet techs are very kind, and it is telling that they actually like their boss. I would recommend this vet to anyone in the Fairfield area, especially those interested in low-cost vaccination clinics. more

I had the same experiance. Only went there once. The vet seemed to be afraid of my dog also. I took him there for a rash and he wouldn't even get close enough to lookand see what it was. He just prescribed him something. I was really disappointed. more

I have worked in the field of customer service for years and so when it comes to complimenting or complaining, I am the person who compliments and hold in my complaints. But, I have unfortunately brought my animals here for far too long and every time left unhappy and disappointed. The VET Dr. has never shown my two pets care when he has worked with them. As a matter of fact, he has NEVER AGKNOWLEDGED THEM. Never has talked to them to help them feel comfortable or shown any signs of loving animals. \r It also seems like he was afraid of our dog or he didn't want to get his hands dirty (very similar to another persons comment). I have recently talked to another person who right away had negative comments about ABC hospital commenting the same thing, that the vet didn?t seem to care about her dogs and she changed vets right away. \r Dr. Rick Bhandaal, I truly believe that you are in the position for the wrong reasons and it reflects on your service to our animals. more
