AAMCO Lakeland denied the damage caused by them during leaving our vehicle for a transmission repair.\r

It took them a week to make a repair during holiday weekend. After fully paid for services, the mechanic dropped our car off. We were in shock that middle row leather seats were damaged. One seat got a hole (1.5 inches in diameter) on the leather cover that was ripped apart into small pieces with small cushion pieces around the area.It looked like someone put a sharp tool on the seat or animal has bitten or dig into it. Another seat had similar damage but much smaller in several spots. We informed the Manager right away and let him inspect the damage. He refused that no one caused this damages nor animals or pests in the shop. We told us that the owner would contact us back, but they did not contact us at all. We had to contact them for the follow up.\r

The point is that it was clear that damage just occurred at their shop. All the small, tiny cushion pieces, and leather pieces was in place that no one has interfered or it freshly happened. We also found the trails of black feces under the seats. How possible an auto shop let pests into your car and deny responsibility? \r

The Manager first reaction really upset us. He blamed on us that the leather seat was old. He even mentioned that we kept rats inside. We was very hopeful to receive an answer of how the shop could assist us in fixing this issue. But, all they did was to deny and blame customer who trusted their business, trusted their service and left a vehicle under their supervision for them to cause further damages. They are irresponsible, unethical, and we do not recommend doing business with them.
