Just want to say that Chris is the man, got my car in, looked at and got me a quote within hours of my car having issues. Although they were slammed, he made good on his promise to have an answer as quick as possible. I will always bring my car to Aamco in round rock! Good people. Thank you! Pros: null Cons: null more

AAMCO Round Rock- Brakes 12/21/2011

I took my 2008 Corolla to AAMCO to have my brakes checked out at the Round Rock location. i spoke with Chris about my brakes and it wasn't long before they look at my car. Chris later explained what was wrong and decied to have the work done. He answered my question so that i could understand what was wrong, thats a good thing being a female. The customer service was great, brakes are now fine and they even gave me a ride home. Pros: null Cons: null more

Round Rock AAMCO 12/20/2011

I was having transmission issues with my Cheverolet 1500, and contacted AAMCO to have it checked out.. I spoke with Chris at the Round Rock location and he informed me that they would do a free diagnostic, to see exactly what the issue was. Unfortunately it needed a complete rebuild (which I figured it would), but the process to rebuild was explained fully to me by Chris. In addition, the warranty and all thefinance options were also explained. I do like that after ten days, they asked me to bring my truck back in to make sure the transmission was working properly. The pros are excellent customer service, very fast repair, and the various options they offer to help pay for major repairs. Pros: null Cons: null more

Honest, Friendly, Quality 3/12/2008

I recently brought my son's 2001 Isuzu Trooper with 127,000 miles in to have a slight slipping problem checked out. The manager was friendly and courtious and told me he would perform a no cost diagnosis. I was worried that my son might have driven too long with this problem, so I was preparing for the worst. Once the diagnostics were completed, I was told that the transmissions accumulator was leaking (I was informed that it was a common problem on this type of transmission) and the total repair would cost under $200. The manager explained that the slipping was caused by a low fluid condition due to the leak and since it was caught early, no damage was done. You can imagine how relieved I was to hear that! Thanks again AAMCO for your honesty and commitment to provide quality automotive repairs. Pros: Honest, Friendly, Free diagnosis. Cons: none more

Caution is advised 11/20/2007

I usually do all of my own car repair - been doing so for over 40 years. I'd advise caution in using this service supplier. In my recent visit, all I required was to have a couple of bolts rethreaded where the transmission pan bolted to the transmission of my 1997 Chrysler mini-van and the tranmission filled with fluid. Pros: Convenient, friendly, willing to comply with specific customer requests Cons: Possible quality problems with the finished work more
