The worst ride from the airport ever. A terrible driver in a disfunctional taxi. The cab had the engine light on and could not go faster than slow. When we complained to the driver, he said he was going slow because the cab veered to the right. Avoid this cab company. If I could give it no stars, I would. more

I would like to say that I have been taking BROWARD TAXI on several occasions and I must say that on four out of five times the experience was horrible. I am a foreign national and I get around by taking the taxi. I find that these drivers are very reluctant if you are going short distances. Management sucks also, because when you call and complain to them about the service, they show no remorse nor are they apologetic. I am sick of these dam Haitian drivers who are so aggressive and cold. They behave as if they are doing me a favor and I am not paying them. The last straw for me was yesterday morning, I will never do business with that company agian!! If you have to take a taxi, let BROWARD TAXI be the last one for you call!!!!!! Take my advice! worst taxi service ever. called and told me in route. over an hour later, they never showed and everytime i called, they lied and said they were almost here. never shower. friends have similar stories. please never call. more

THIS WAS REALLY BAD,,,, WHEN I GOT TO THE AIRPORT I TOLD THE DRIVER THAT I COULD ONLY PAY BY CREDIT CARD BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH CASH. HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE TO LONG TO PROCESS THE CREDIT CARD AND I WOULD MISS MY FLIGHT. I TOLD HIM THAT I HAD NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE BECAUSE I WAS A FEW DOLLARS SHORT. THEN HE SAID LET ME SEE HOW MUCH MONEY I HAD. WHEN I HANDED IT OVER TO HIM, HE SAID OK LET ME PUT THE REMAINDER DUE ON THE CREDIT CARD. THATS WHEN I GOT UPSET AND SAID GIVE ME MY CASH BACK AND RUN THE ENTIRE PAYMENT THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD. (WE PROCEEDED TO HAVE A TUG OF WAR WITH MY CASH IN HAND!!!) I SAID LET GO BECAUSE I HAVE TO TIP THE LUGGAGE PEOPLE AT THE AIRLINE CHECK IN. WHEN I ARRIVED MY TAXI BILL WAS ONLY $26.10, I SAID RUN THE ENTIRE BILL FOR THE CREDIT CARD WHILE I CHECK IN MY LUGGAGE WITH THE LUGGAGE CLERK. UPON MY RETURN TO THE TAXI DRIVE, HE HANDED ME THE BILL AS 30.00. (????) HOW DID HE CHANGE IT TO $30.00 WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT, THE FARE SCREEN WAS ONLY SHOWING $26.10?? WHEN I LOOKED AGAIN AT THE FARE SCREEN IT INCREASED TO $28.10, THEREFORE I SCRATCHED OUT HIS AMOUNT AND PUT BACK TO $28.10. (I WAS NOT GOING TO ARGUE ABOUT HOW THE FARE WENT FROM $26.10 TO $28.10) BUT HE WAS NOT GOING TO GET A TIP FROM ME BY ALREADY ADDING TO THE BASE PRICE, THEN EXPECT ME TO PUT ANOTHER TIP ON TOP OF THAT. PLUS THE EPISODE TUG OF WAR WITH MY ONLY CASH AT HAND. THE BEST PART WAS...WHEN I CALLED THE TAXI COMPANY TO COMPLAIN, THE SUPERVISOR'S REACTION WAS ""OK.. SO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO???"""" On Saturday, July 11, at about 2 .p.m., I encountered a stopped taxi on a major street next to Searstown Shopping Center in Ft Lauderdale. This taxi was stopped in the middle of the street for no reason. No one was near. It was just stopped. I drove up from behind and then realized that this fool was just stopped for God knows what reason and I honked my horn. No response. So I honked again. Finally the driver sped off. At the next intersection, in the left turn lane, the driver lowered his window and proceeded to tell me what he would do to me if i wasn't an elderly person. After a heated exchange we went different ways and I can say I was relieved as I was afraid for my safety after being threatened. The driver was young, in his twentys and hispanic from his speech. I would not want him working or representing my company if I was owner or management. I felt it necessary to warn others. Pros: Absoutly none Cons: Should be fired! more

I just moved from NY saying this I expect FAST but not always the best service. This was my 3rd time trying to get a taxi in Florida. Let me tell you, the first time I dialed 411 they connected me to the # that rung for about 2 minutes with no answer. The second? they never showed up!!! So here I was tonight, I searched online by myself , dialed the number for Broward Taxi and the Taxi showed up in Hollywood after 10 minutes. The driver actually called me that he was on his way. He was quick, extremely polite, and his taxi smelled very nice (not like the ones in N.Y.)\r I highly reccomend it!
