I purchased travel debit cards from this branch. During purchase I specifically informed them where I was travelling ( one of the countries being Montenegro ). At no time during the purchase did anyone inform me that the card would not work in Montenegro ( an important detail that you would think they would mention). Upon entry into Montenegro I ( having no idea that the card would not work ) I attemepted a withdrawal to no avail. Stressed out and without cash I was forced to use a back up credit card that I had no intent of using. Of course this credit card ( as any credit card ) had a much higher withdrawal fee and interest that would accrue. The whole point of purchasing travel debit cards was to avoid such fees. However, I had no choice. I needed cash to pay for lodging, food, etc. Upon my return I spoke with an employee at this branch and told me that this branch is not responsible since ""it is impossible for them to know where the card will work and where it will not work "". I found this very interesting. DOES THIS BRANCH SELL THIS PRODUCT TO LOYAL AND LONGSTANDING AAA CUSTOMERS ( SUCH AS MYSELF) WITHOUT KNOWING WHERE IT WILL WORK AND WHERE IT WILL NOT WORK? SERIOUSLY....... Following this conversation I visited the travel debit card website. After some research I finally found a page where it is indeed stated that the card will not work in Montenegro. For that, I share a bit of responsbility. However, one would assume that this basic and vital information would have been explained to me since it was clear on where I was travelling. I do not expect to be compensated completely for this. However, their mistake in not telling me where this card would work is irresponsible and costly. I deserve more than an apology. Consumers be careful of this branch..........
