I purchased a pair of glasses from A Visual Affair a couple years ago. A Visual Affair was almost a month late in getting them to me. A few months ago, I broke the left ear piece and brought the glasses back to A Visual Affair in order to get it repaired. They charged me $139 and took two weeks. When A Visual Affair returned the glasses to me, the two ear pieces were different lengths. A Visual Affair did replace the left ear piece, but now the right ear piece was about 1"" shorter than the left ear piece. When I brought this up with A Visual Affair staff, they said it might be the manufacturers fault and sent them back to the manufacturer for a check. The glasses were returned, and A Visual Affair said that the manufacturer claimed it was not their fault, and the store said that I had no other choice but to buy a new pair of glasses. A Visual Affair also insinuated that it was my fault and refused to pay for the damage to the glasses or to refund me for the ""repair"" that broke my glasses. I filed a complaint with the BBB, but A Visual Affair never responded. I took the glasses to a store near my house on Capitol Hill, and they repaired it for $35 in ONE DAY. $139 and 2 weeks and broken glasses vs. $35 and 1 day. You figure it out.
