Absolutely, Y'all Come Back! 6/11/2011

We had an incredibly good experience: elegant, clean and the management was extremely helpful. Belinda offered and insisted that we accept a refund for one night, when our arrival time was not communicated clearly. The area was charming, as advertised, and the southern hospitality was everywhere. Don't know what previous reviewer did but my wife & I would be amazed if it was the B&B's fault. Travelers be warned. ""A Touch of Country"" is operated by an unscrupulious owner. The woman who operates this two-cottage property received an accidental overpayment by check from our company of nearly $800.00, and refused to admit the error, citing that her website states ""no refunds."" \r \r Seriously folks, we highly suggest that travelers avoid ""A Touch of Country"" in New Iberia, LA. There are better, and more professionally operated ""real"" B&B's along the Bayou Teche that are wonderful. ""A Taste of Country"" is definitely not one of them. more
