The work done was great, but recently when I did my engine coolant flush & brake fluid flush I felt that I was over priced and they were just taking there time with the maintenanc...

Treat our cars like their own 10/24/2013

I have used A to Z Transmission & Automotive since 2000. I got a referral from a customer of theirs who lives in my neighborhood. He said he went in there for a leak in his engine, and they let him know it was just a drain plug. It could have been passed off as a major repair. They are very honest. They have a logo on everything that says, "Finally, an honest mechanic," and I believe them. I have 5 cars with them, with my sons and daughter driving too, and they have all our records. They keep up on everything and let us know what we should do. They don't cut corners or play games. They only push what really needs to happen. They will tell me what really needs to be fixed, and they treat our cars like their own cars. I have had really good experiences with them. They have done some major repairs for me and almost all our maintenance. more

Very honest 10/15/2013

Basically, I think that A to Z Transmission & Automotive is really professional. I've been going there for over a year now and I like that I can go in and tell them what I think is going on and they take the car in and verify what the issue is. They give me a quote for the initial problem, but they also give a list of issues to be addressed, but they're not pushy. They just let you know what's most important to what can be put off indefinitely. They are cognitive to the fact that not everyone is made of money or has piles of dollars to spend, so they let you know what's most important to fix first. I am knowledgeable about cars, but they still take time to explain what's going on with my car. I feel they are very honest. more

Very professional 9/27/2013

I would recommend A To Z Transmission & Automotive. I like their professionalism. They are very professional, and as far as I can tell the quality of their work is excellent. Nothing has gone wrong with what they've fixed so far. The only thing I always squabble about when I go over there is raising prices. It's a good organization; I just haven't compared them with other people or done any extensive homework to prove otherwise. It just seems to be getting higher and higher. It cost me $135 to get a battery changed, and then $35 to have them put a bulb in, and I gave them the bulb (I couldn't find the plug, or I would have done it myself). I did ask my girlfriend how much it cost to get hers done, and it was about the same though, so I guess things have just gone up in general. Other than that, they keep finding all kinds of stuff going on in my car. I have a '99 Honda Accord, which is a pretty reliable automobile, generally speaking, but the repair engine light keeps coming on. It see more

I met A to Z Transmission & Automotive two or three months ago. My car died at midnight in the Valley. It's 23 years-old but I don't want to get rid of it. They took care of the things that needed to be taken care of now, and fitted things into my budget. I had seen their ads at different times. When my car broke down, Triple A recommended I use A to Z Transmission & Automotive, but I was going to use them anyhow because they were a local company! They're a nice bunch of people. They're right up front and tell you everything, including what you can get away with for now. They don't mess with you. I'm going back to A to Z Transmission & Automotive! more

A To Z Transmission & Automotive is generally pretty good at doing services and doing them as promised. They do the repairs as expected. I had them do some routine maintenance and various things like a brake job. I was satisfied, it was good work. more

Always been courteous 8/22/2013

The people at A To Z Transmission & Automotive have always been courteous. They let me know the estimate and they would call me to let me know if they found anything else wrong to be done immediately, or to do later. They never tried to force something to raise my bill. Even one time, I had something running five minutes before closing--it was a fuse or something--and the guy got somebody to look at it without charging. I'd recommend them! I needed an air conditioner fixed recently and another place told me it would cost $400. A To Z fixed it for less than $100! I would recommend A To Z to everyone. They even drove me home and picked up car up since I didn't live far too away! more

The last experience I had with them was when my car was leaking the juice out of the air conditioner. It was dripping in my driveway, so I brought it over and told them what I saw. They took the car and drained all the liquid out and put new liquid in then ran the engine. When the liquid hit the two leaks they were able to see where the problem was. They replaced the items that were leaking and so far everything has been good. That was the third or fourth time I've gotten work done there. more

They are honest 8/2/2013

I've used A to Z Transmission and Automotive for the last 10 years. They've done a great job. I've never had to bring anything back because it wasn't working. They are very friendly and very nice. Great to deal with. I think they could be a little cleaner, which is why I gave them a four. When they return a car, they should clean up after themselves. I have been a customer of A to Z Transmission & Automotive for a very long time. My husband and I started using them in probably 1990. I am still one of their customers. I bought a new car because I was in an accident in January and my car was totaled. The dealer has been doing a lot of the work because it is under warranty, but any related work that I have, I will go to A to Z. Their work has always been fine. I recommend them highly. We have been dealing with them for 20 years, and they are great. more
