A Plus Automotive Repair

A great repair shop. I broke down on the interstate these guys came with a tow truck picked me up and got me repaired. Took away a lot of my frustration with crooked mechanics. They explained and showed me what was going on. I wish they were in my home town. Thanks for the laughs and taking the time to explain everything and for getting me back on the road. more

This shop is awesome. I had brought my truck in after being to 3 other shops and told many things was wrong with my chevy. I decided to try these guys out and I am glad that I did. After they looked at my truck they called me explained what was going on I was kind of shocked. My air filter had fallen apart causing the engine to cut off and hardly run. Just something that simple. I was told by these other shops Tune up, catalytic converter, intake was leaking. I am very happy I pulled into their lot and had them check it over. I have never trusted a auto repair shop until I went to A plus. Jonathon, the owner, is an awesome guy. I went there about two weeks ago with a starter problem. His quote was $200 less than a shop 3 miles away. Plus, he can tow your car. (I think I still owe him for a tow) I put my POS explorer back in his shop Wednesday before Christmas for a very bad coolant leak and no heat. Got it back today. I aint blowing smoke. If I have a problem with my POS explorer? I will take it to Jonathon. more

I have been going to this shop for the past 4 years. I have seen this shop grow beyond expectations. These guys are more and more amazing every time I go in there or when I refer customers to them. There speed and accurate repairs blow my mind. Thank you guys for being who you are. more

Outstand Automotive Repair Shop. I broke down not to far from this shop. They could have taken advantage of me not being up to date on automotive technology. Turns out my battery cable had some corrosion and they just had to clean it up. These guys will have mime and my families business. Great Job guys Mt. These Guys are top of the line! I broke down in Hermitage called these guys. They have their own tow trucks had me picked up in 20min had me back at their shop and had me repaired in a hour and a half. Impressive if you ask me. I give these 2 thumbs up great work and great customer service. more

The Guys at A+ Automotive are amazing they stayed very late to get my vehicle back on the road. My wife and I Where traveling broke down in Mount Juliet and only 1 company A+ Automotive really cared about getting my family back on the road. Very Clean shop, and very clean work. My experience here at A Plus has always been good. I had a radiator replace and saved over $100 on what the other shops around were going to charge. I took it back this week for a valve cover gasket, plugs and wires replaced and again saved $100 on what other shops would have charged. They do a great job and they do it for less. They?ve got my business. more

It's not easy finding a repair shop this good. A+ was everything I could hope for...honest, fair price, fast. They even washed my car and had it looking great. These guys go the extra mile to make a customer happy & they deliver. more

I just used A+ Automotives services, and they were excellent! The price was more than fair, the prompt attention to my vehicle was great, how neat and clean these guys work was outrageous. I came in for a few repairs and they explained everything that was done showed me the old parts and even washed my car. I know the pricing was very fair because I called the parts house when they had told me what was wrong and what parts needed to be changed. I would use their services again it is very hard finding a shop that will be straight up and honest with you. I read the reviews below and I could not ever see more

I have been battling with this shop since September! I paid them to put a rebuilt engine and a header in my truck. The engine and the work was bad. There was nothing but problems once I got the truck back (which was over a month.) Then, the truck had to be towed back to the shop after it started throwing rods and smoking!!! Now it has been another two months and they won't answer the phone, or return my calls. They have basically stolen my money and my truck. I have had to buy another car so I could get back and forth to work. This mechanic has cost me a lot of time and money, and I still don't have my truck back!!! more

The only thing I can say that would make A+ better is if they had more locations. These guys are excellent! They do not beat around the bush. You may not like what they tell you the problem is, but they are straight foward and 100% on the money. I have been to the dealership several times unable to found out what the problem is ( all I get is com back again when it happens 3 years now). These guys at A+ found the problem in under 2 hours a broken ground wire on the firewall. I no longer have any of the issues I was having before. more

I just moved here from Texas and usually use Firestone or Goodyear. I felt I was getting over charged and drove by this place. Turns out Firestone was completely wrong about what was wrong with my car. The missfire on my car was from a fuel pump not a catalytic converter and a tune up. A+ found the problem and fixed without the super high price. I am a single mom with limited income. I cannot afford to loose money, I am so happy to have found A+ they are a true blessing. more

I wish I could give these guys a 100 stars! I had my vehicle scanned at a local shop in town and they had told me the I needed to replace my evap canister and 2 sensor more

After being ripped off and given the run around all my life from auto. repair shops, I've finally found quality, honesty, & integrity with A+ Automotive. I had all but given up on finding a mechanic that I can say I truly trust - until now. If you've been majorly ripped off by mechanics several times like me, then you'll understand why I'm taking the time to write this review. I knew the first time I met Jonathan that we were in good hands. I was referred to A+ Automotive from an already happy customer who said, ""Jonathan will find it, fix it - and for a reasonable price."" Now, we're also happy customers and thrilled with the work done on my husband's car. We were in a position to really get ripped off with the symptoms our car's motor had - and likely would have been by most shops - but not Jonathan. He found every issue, fixed them and went above and beyond in everything he did to our car. The car is running fantastic now! Jonathan fixed multiple issues & even saved us from getting big-time ripped off on front-end work that we almost had done at another company. Wow, I wish we had found Jonathan many years ago. But you know the saying, ""better late than never!"" Thank you Jonathan, you now have a new faithful customer. My husband and I have been around the block a time or two, we know the ""real deal"" when we see it, and repay it with loyalty. more

I have been shopping around for a few weeks only to stumble across these guys. I recieved nothing but honest pricing and a honest repair. These guys got right on my vehicle and repaird for much less than I had been quoted by other places. It took me 3 weeks to write this just incase there was a problem with the repair. There has been no problems and my car is running great thanks to A+ Automotive. If you have not used them I suggest you give them a call. more

I took my car to A+automotive on the 16th of December, I have a receipt from ATT for the wrecker service that towed my car to their shop. I stopped by and he said to me bring it over here so we can see what it is, so I had it towed to their shop on the 16th, It sat in their yard for a week before he got it in the shop,. He told me the transmission was frozen up and a rebuilt one was $2152.19 and I told him I didn't have that much money, but I sold to shotguns and came up with $1500.00 and he would carry the rest until the 3rd of January. after a couple of weeks the car was supposed to be fixed. His mechanic drove it and said it run great. I picked it up and drove about 3 miles and it was jumping and I took it back and got the mechanic and told him I wanted him to ride with me and he did and it started jumping and sputtering, and he said you can't hurt it to drive it, it needs a selonied and he said bring it back to me on Sunday and I will fix it and there will be no charge it is on me. I stood there and watched him put the transmission in the car it took about 3 hours of we watching for him to get the trainsmission in that is why I t hought they were fixing it. I did not know at this time they had sent the car out to get it fixed. Well when I took it back is when all the trouble started. Jonathan said he did not know where the car was at, it was in Hendersonville somewhere but he didn't know where. His mechanic took it over there. I went by several times over the next 4 weeks and there was always some excuse, his mechanic was over there all day long working on it, the parts didn't come in. It was one excuse after another. I was in there one day and there was a policeman across the street from his place and I walked over there and asked the policeman if he would come to A+ with me and he said he would be there in a minute, so I walked back in to wait on him and Jonathan told me to leave. When the policeman came I explained to him the problem and Jonathan told me to leave again and I said I wasn't leaving until I got my car, I had already paid him, and the police said I needed to leave so I did. Outside of the building the police said it sounded like I needed to get an attorney. We went to the police station the next day and another policeman went went us to A+ and he also stated he had had several complaints about A+ Automotive and when we went to A+ the officer told Jonathan the same thing that they had several complaints about them. Anyway when we went to pick the car up the car was not at his place and the officer told him we would be back tomorrow and if the car wasn't there it would be reported as a stolen vehicle and he would be responsible. He then told me there was another $575.00 owed and that had to be paid before we picked the car up. I called my sister in Columbia SC and she called him and gave him her credit card information over the phone and he processed it that day. We went back the next day with the same police officer went us and paid the other $652.19 and picked the car up. It took 6 weeks and 3 days to get the car back and as of Feb 13, 2012 the car doesn't have any REVERSE in it, and I have a 3 year warrenty on the repair but I am afraid to take it back to him to have him fix the REVERSE GEAR in it. I guess I will have to take it to another transmission place. I am under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and it is very differicult to do. more
