A One Moving Storage

I was moving cross country and I needed to move all my furniture from a two bedroom apartment to Las Vegas, NV. I contacted A One Van Lines since they were referred to me by a friend who used them a few times for moves within the city. I was extremely happy with how quickly they were able to pack up my life and get it on the truck. They delivered all my furniture on the day they promised which gave me piece of mind since I was on a tight schedule to start work in NV. I'm an extremely organized person so I knew exactly how many boxes were packed and thir contents. Nothing was missing and there were no damages. When I got the final bill, I wasn't surprised by a much larger number than quoted. They quoted me correctly to begin with so I was prepared for the final amount. If I move again, I will be using them. more

This company is the best.The workers were polite friendly,made you feel comfortable.professional,and didnt take a cigarette break every two minutes.They got right to work,Didnt nurse the clock.worked very hard.Not stopping until the work was all done.I was so impressed I offered to buy them lunch.Most moving companies try to nurse the clock for every penney in your pocket.This company seem more focus on getting the job done.I will surely use them again.and again and again.lawl more

A-One offered me the best price out of all the companies I called, so I was thinking I wouldn't get as good a service. boy was I wrong, they are not only the cheapest but there was they also did the job perfectly. I have nothing but praises for this company. more

I called up several moving companies and A-One was the only 1 able to move me next day, and because it was a weekend I even got a discount. Not only that, their price was also significantly less than the other companies I called up. I really have nothing but praises for this company. more

I needed to move due to a last minute decision and Time was not on my side. Called a few moving companies up and A-One offered me the best deal. They made it here in 2 hours, packed everything for me, and loaded all my stuff. They took care of everything for me, all I had to do was sit there and relax. This is the only moving company I would ever use. I had been living in New York for 40 yrs and have used moving companies often. They are all the same trust me I know. But this company is different. They did not play any games with the bill or hit me with any last minute fees. They were up front with everything and explained what all of my cost were upfront. To bad they moved me to Miami and I am retired now or I would use them again. Thanks A-One and the A-one sales team. more

I disagree with both reviews below . I think AONE movers was a great moving company and they helped me very much . When i first called , they were very helpful and caring and they stood that way all through the move . They stook to one price and always answered my calls and were very understanding . I had a very good move and im glad it was with AONE movers . I have and will contine to recommend this moving company to friends and family in the future because they were very helpful caring and did a great job with my move .\r Also Joseph and Jerry (the owners) along with there wonderful staff , not only were hired by myself but also with always remain very warm and friendly friends of mine .\r To be honest the worst part of my move , is knowing that until i move again i will not see them as frequently as i used too . This place was a nightmare. When you first speak to them they are your best buddies afterwards your lucky if they take your phone calls. After an initial estimate they charged me and extra thou upon delivery. They make promises they can not keep and then lie about what was agreed upon. They were to deliver everything on the 16th and they didnt arrive until the 21st - 2 days AFTER my wedding. I had to buy new shoes, bridesmaids gifts etc. I even had them come a few days earlier for pick up hoping that would help in expediting the delivery. To thank me, they charged me thirty five each for two cardboard boxes they used to pack my tv and computer. They also charged me four dollars per roll of tape and 15 per blanket used! These are all things they said were included in the price! When I had some more things to add on, instead of telling me the cost, they would say, ""Don't worry about it! It's fine."" Sure!! It's fine until you get the final bill! I couldnt even NOT pay them because they subcontract to another company since I was moving out of state. The other moving comp. saw what I was going through and told me that everytime they deliver for A 1 Moving, the customers always complain. Also, A 1 told them I was crazy and to please get this crazy woman off their hands. Very professional A 1! You will see me in small claims court and the ""Better Bizness Bureau"" will defntly get a letter from me! Thanks for nothing! Bunch of morons.. With an advance estimate of around $2200 for our move within the city, we ended up paying $4000. But only after endless phone calls, fights and discussions. Otherwise we would have paid around $5000!!! Their planning was horrible. The first day they stopped packing after only 6 hours and the last day they were not finished until after midnight. Be warned, this was one horrible experience. Pros: Still thinking on that one ... Cons: 100% more
