I don't even know where to begin...except to say I wouldn't be the person I am today without the help of A New Start Counseling Center! My therapist is excellent...and always in high demand! I've heard nothing but good things about the other therapists too and would highly recommend anyone for counseling there. The front desk administrators are caring and courteous. I've ALWAYS experienced excellent service, very professional staff and genuine concern for my well-being. :-) more

I can find nothing but GREAT things to say about A New Start Counseling. From the time I started as a client\r the whole experience from office staff to therapist has been nothing but a true blessing to me.\r \r The staff always greets me with a friendly hello and has always been most helpful on the phone...even from the first day I called for my first appointment when they didn't know me. Now it feels like family when I see them. Always a pleasant experience! \r \r The therapist I see is nothing less than a gift from God for me...a blessing she is. From the first day I had a session with her (when everything in my life was a mess) until now it has been nothing less than a miracle in how her counseling has helped me turn my life around. It has not always been easy nor was everything 'fixed' overnight but, without her help, I am not sure I would be here today. My life, as I know it now, is better than it has ever been thanks to this wonderful Christian lady. WOW! Where do I begin? Let me start by saying I can never put into words the respect and appreciation I have for A New Start! The therapist I have been seeing since April 2010 was recommended to me by a school counselor and also by a previous client of hers. I have been in counseling at different times in my life and believe that they helped for that season, but not for life. The therapist I am seeing is a female, but even more beneficial to me is that she is a REAL Christian. I have learned to trust her with the most intimate, shameful details of my past; NEVER has she looked at me with disgust or revulsion...that amazed me! I have only seen love and concern in her eyes. Having said that, I must admit that I think I’ve made an art out of frustrating people, but never has anyone responded to me like she has. No, I didn’t like it when she got firm, but if she hadn’t I never would have learned that “anger is not the opposite of love; apathy is.” What a great lesson to learn! There is also no other place you can visit that has a better front office staff; they are quite lovely! I have never been made to feel like a burden or an inconvenience to any of the wonderful ladies answering the phones! They learned my name, which therapist I was seeing, and ALWAYS greeted me with a smile. I like to tell them I’m there favorite, but truth is, they make everyone feel like the fave! There is no safer/better place to share you heart and be lead into true healing. THANKS A NEW START! more

This Center has the most amazing staff and the best therapists. They genuinely care about what is going on in your life and want to help you get through the issues you have. I always get greeted by my name and they take the time to truly connect with you! They want to make sure you are happy and that you get the help that you need. The fact that they are a faith based center is amazing. You can see that their love and compassion as Christians has really helped them build one of the strongest counseling centers in the area! A New Start Counseling is a great center for adults and children. The clinicians are extremely professional and specialized to meet your unique need. I personally was at the brink of disaster a few years ago and A New Start saved my life. I had been to other centers and vowed that I was not going through ""that"" again. But A New Start was completely different. Everyone is caring with high moral and personal standards. And the staff makes you feel welcome and works with you to get the appointments that you need. This is not your typical counseling center. They are the greatest. The center was originally recommended to me and I have since recommended it to many others. I would make it my first choice for anyone seeking help with any type of personal concern. more

We all need help sometimes...it's hard to ask for it and even harder to get good constructive help that changes your life. A New Start has literally transformed and saved my life. I've been through many life changes (many that were devastating and would have taken anyone down) and I don't know where I'd be today if it hadn't been for my caring and concerned therapist. It's helped so much to learn more about myself and how I see the world and how I react to the world. I would absolutely recomment this center (and have) to anyone who is looking for help. more

Great place to get the help you need. Many therapist to choose from. Christian environment with a friendly staff. The therapist my son uses is terrific. Just the right temperament for him. Asks the hard questions, and gives great insight. My husband and I are pleased with the progress we have seen. more

I highly recommend A Newstart to anyone seeking counseling in safe , caring environment. The counselors are terrific and have an excellent values. They are humble and compassionate. Their administrative staff is wonderful as well. Everyone their makes you feel secure and welcome. It has been such a positive change in my life. My daughter started counseling with one of the counselors here based on the recommendation of her school counselor. We chose the particular person because she was Christian. There was an initial meeting between my husband and I and this woman and we described IN DETAIL what the problems our 13 year old was facing. After 8 months of therapy, there was an incident I brought to the counselor's attention that had been the main reason she was seeking help. As it turns out, the entire time she had been going there the counselor had let her guide the thread of conversation and did not one time discuess the reason we had started her there in the first place. If I cold get a refund of all the money (not to mention wasted time) I would. more
