A New Dawn Day Spa

I was vacationing in the area several months ago and saw A New Dawn in Clarence and decided to make an appointment and treat myself! I was apprehensive at first because I've had some bad experiences in "snooty" spas. However, this was CERTAINLY not the case here! I was immediately welcomed by the friendly staff and the accommodations were wonderful! It wasn't long before I felt like I'd been friends with the staff for ages! The warm lobby allowed me to relax between the wonderful treatments! I see Katie had some concerns with the staff conversing while giving her a pedi but, personally, I loved the conversation! Granted, I appreciated the serene silence during my wonderful massage by Dawn, but it would have been rigidly awkward during my mani and pedi. Honestly, I am astonished that some people have such a foul opinion of this fine spa because I honestly cannot find a single negative thing to say about my visit! In reference to the nail techs making mistakes, it happens! I, being fallible myself, am very forgiving when someone is less than perfect; I would hate to be judged by such standards. However, I was not even placed in such a situation here. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Hope to visit again soon! more

I like going to a new dawn because i feel like I fit in. When I think of a spa, i think of nasty people with their noses stuck in the air. This is not the way at a new dawn. I love that I can go in, have a hot drink and just curl up on a comfy couch. The staff is very welcoming and do the best they can to make you feel comfortable. more

I really enjoy my appointments at the spa.I have tried many of the services and have enjopyed them all. My favorite service is a hot stone message. I love all the attention and pampering. the staff is awesome! more

I have been a customer of this spa for two years now. I have had numerous nail techs do manis and pedis and have always been more than satisfied. The atmosphere is very homey with each room in a different theme and the new location is even better than the last. The staff is very relaxed and I couldn't ask for better service. Really sorry Amanda had such a bad experience. Certainly not the same spa I go to. more

If you are looking to be pampered in a comfortable place, this is not the place for you. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing pedicure and I received quite the opposite. The atmosphere was grungy, not up to date, my polish was all over my toes and air bubble bumps in the nail polish when I left. I do not plan on returning to this spa (if that is what you can call it) again! more

I love spending time at A NEW DAWN DAY SPA because of the comfort and luxury at the same time. I would never have saw myself in a spa a few years ago! I love curling up on a couch, reading , meditating w/ the class, having a cup of something before or after my massage. I never feel hurried or rushed. The girls are all so friendly and I LOVE being Pampered! The first time I went, I was actually nervous that i would feel conspicuous! LIke i didn't belong! WOW~ Was i wrong! I love treating myself to a gift of time and massage or a pedicure or meditation! I would highly recommend A NEW DAWN DAY SPA to anyone ~ male/female alike! Many men go there for massage, meditation, pedicures and who knows what all else?? ENJOY!!!!!!! more

This is the place to go for a relaxing double massage! Each room is themed and lovely! Photos are great on web-site. They have replaced staff that brought poor reviews for nail technicians. NEVER had a bad massage... new nail tech is great too! New massage therapist is phenomenal! more

I am very shocked by the previous reviews. I have been a client here for about a year and have had great experiences. I started with a spa party for my family at Christmas and we have returned numerous times. I find the staff to be friendly and make you feel at home, not stuffy and out of place. My health and that of family members, who also are now repeat customs, have also saw an improvement in our health. Dawn works very hard to keep her staff up-to-date and she herself is very informative. I am a loyal customer! more

They are always able to get me in on short notice. I love attending their girl's night out parties. Well worth the money! I'm asking for GC's to here for Xmas. more

The atmosphere of this spa did not quite flow & was very mismatched. The staff were all friendly, but it was clear they need more experience. The two staff members would talk amongst themselves while performing the pedicures & were a little messy & loud in doing so. A few employees are young & not quite up to par with their areas of "expertise". The immaturity showed when 1 was messing up my manicure & had to re-do it 3 times. My nails were jagged & polish was all over & she laughed it off. The facial & massage were both very enjoyable. The owner performed my massage & noticed my nails were a mess, so she re-painted them afterwards. Very pleasant people, just in dire need of more experience & spa knowledge. We went with certificate, so it wasn't quite so painful when it came time to check out....but I'm not sure if I would go there again. They should keep studying. more
