i've been to this spa for different reasons but the hair cut experience left a LOT to be desired.\r \r when i went for waxing or massages, it's been great with really nice service but i recently got my hair cut there and the girl was a total zombie who did a really lack luster job. i've gotten better cuts at way cheaper places.\r \r they also called me really early in the morning to bump my appt that i had made a long time ago. not so nice.\r \r as the other reviewers said, watch out more

Great Hair Cut 6/25/2009

I loved my hair cut at A New Beginning. I had let my hair grow out and was a little nervous about getting a shorter cut at a "hair salon". The cut was very similar to one that I found in a magazine and the massaging shampoo was GREAT! I also love the Aveda men's hair products. I will recommend to all my friends! more

Bad Experience 1/27/2008

Unless you get a cut with one of their top stylists, you're taking a risk. I got an AWFUL haircut once, and although it was fixed by the owner, I will never go back there again. I'm too scared that I will lose 5" of hair again. On the other hand, there is a nice spa for those who do not want the haircut. more

More than just hair 1/14/2008

A New Beginning has a tasteful atmosphere and is a very stylish place; it is a cut above the typical hair salon. \r \r I did have one bad hair cut there, but the owner, who is definitely the best, did fix it as it grew out free of charge. \r \r It has gotten difficult to get appointments with the stylist of choice, and it is a bit pricey. more
