Fortunately, my wife and I did not have the experience the previous reviewer had with Zeke King Jr. The day of our appointment Zeke was ready with about five apartments to look at and spent the entire day visiting them and their neighborhoods. Later we went back to the office where he answered questions and helped us navigate the world of renting in NYC. Eventually we decided that we wanted to move ahead with filling out the application to rent the last apartment we saw. Zeke was very patient with us as we tried to sort out paperwork between two states. Finally, we got the apartment with Zeke's help. We had a very good experience with Zeke and would recommend him to anybody looking for an apartment.\r more

DO NOT go through ZEKE KING JR at A.N. Shell Real Estate in NYC. I am sure the others in the office are much more professional and they did seem to have good listings. The only reason I gave one star is because I got a fairly quick response. When I asked a question via email, I was then bombarded with several rude, demeaning emails from Zeke King J.R. (he was mostly angry that I didn't leave him a contact phone number, which I accidently left out of my response email). When we decided to go through someone else to find us a home, he wrote me the nastiest email ending with, and I quote ""Do not even respond to this email either. But you are a WOMAN so you must have the last word."" What a sexist jerk! Do yourself a favor and stay away! more
