Good: I loved this shop on South Hill in Puyallup. I always got decorating ideas. I didn't seem to leave there without something in my arms. The owner (JUDY) seemed to know her niche in the area of home decor mixed with antiques. She always had the shop looking lovely.. Bad: Not enough parking! Now that it is a Walgreen's they have made a HUGE parking lot. Too bad Hillside Antiques didn't have it.. Improvements: I want that shop back again..... NOT Walgreen's. We have so many already.. more

Well, Hillside Antiques & Mercantile no longer is located in South Hill. The building was sold off, then demolished, and now it is a new Walgreen's sitting on the corner of 144th and Meridian. This address is a UPS address and the owner still picks up mail from it. This phone no. is no longer in use. Judy Hamm misses all of her wonderful customers.... who knows.. maybe another shop in the future?? more

First off - it is so nice to have a shop in South Hill. Most are downtown puyallup away from where we live. This was one of the most tastefully decorated antique shops I have seen. It had both antiques & collectibles and lots of various kinds of home decor. The lady behind the desk ( I think she is the owner) was so friendly and assisted us to the max. It was so nice to enter into an antique store and actually get waited on. My gripe with most shops is that they are usually on the phone. Anyway - another thing that my girlfriend and I noticed was that it was changed around into themes. It didn't always look the same. It is fresh and clean.Lots of great furniture...everything from very old to the distressed or shabby chic look. Lots of accent pieces too. Please visit there - I think you will enjoy yourselves. more
