Interesting that the positive reviews all have multiple "helpful" votes when the negative review has one.
I am that real customer with a very real negative experience- Sharon D. Wagner. I doubt many of these others could post their names or be able to produce receipts, credit card statements and phone records to prove they used this moving company. I can. And they were dreadful from start to finish.
Quoting owner Rick's Feb. 22, 2010 maps.google rebuttal to a negative review: "Our first and foremost objective is customer satisfaction. We encourage people to share their honest factual reviews including good and not so good."
Please see my review from April 15, 2010 (ammended from April 3, 2010--full reviews on maps.google).
Rick does NOT encourage honest, "not so good" reviews, nor does he honor his word. I have not received the PROMISED $100 refund from my nightmare move, even though I DID remove the one phrase Rick objected to in my honest, non libelous review. Rick did not like my review so he reneged on his promise to refund $100 to me. He lied to me. Twice.
Kimberly's review of June 11, 2010 sounds similar to my experience. The moving boys (Josh and Craig) DO ask for tips the moment they walk into your home. They DO say "don't worry" when you give them instructions and tell them about your concerns. And they are NOT professional.
Perhaps Rick does employ some good crews, I don't know. BUT if he sends you Josh and Craig, you probably will be very disappointed. Don't expect any refund and do expect damage.
Rick, you still have the opportunity to honor your agreement and refund the promised $100 for the damage and problems, I will be happy to post another amended review saying so. My name and number are still in your records, I am quite sure. -- (s.veech)
