A Innovative Chimney Corp

Just hired Innovative Chimney to repair my brick chimney and install a liner. After many estimates and companies I chose Innovative because after meeting with John there was no other technician who could come close to his professionalism and knowledge about not just chimneys but every home project we plan on working on this summer. It was a pleasure working with Innovative Chimney my husband and I are truly pleased with the work and are glad we did not just go with the cheapest company this time and went with our instincts. I contracted with Innovative Chimney to install a 7 inch liner in my house. They installed a 6 inch liner with substandard work. I have spoken with Desiree Yeamans on 3 occasions and left nine messages. The company now refuses to take my calls and will not correct their sub-standard and dangerous work (potential for possible CO poisoning). I have now contracted with another company to replace the liner at a cost of $2,500 and I am now taking steps to sue Innovative chimney in court. I would advise anyone to stay clear of this company. They also list themselves as A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau but their actual rating with the Better Business Bureau is F (worst rating possible). They appear to be a two person company (John and Desiree Yeamans) but present themselves as much larger. I will see them in court shortly. I saw plastic and drop cloths used even in my boiler room which I noticed was being stuffed with junk. I'm glad I decided to do both flues as recommended , since I would not have gone to the boiler room otherwise. My main concern was my fireplace, which needed some repairs. After the repairman were done, I checked and found the mason work to be precise as mine would have been. The thing that pleased me most though, was that the Draft had improved dramatically. At last - the warmth I seek. Not nearly as expensive as I thought and quickly completed, I will recommend this company often. Pros: Where shall I begin. Fire protection, masons, maintenance, etc. more
