Don't take your dog here! My dog got bit by another dog while being boarded at A Happy Dog's southside location. When my husband called after the vet recommended stitches they said they were not liable and we signed a release. We never asked them to pay for the bills. We simpily wanted a copy of the incident report and a copy of the attacking dog's vaccination records. The dogs had not had a temperament test nor did they take a copy of their shot records! The 4 inch bite requires stitches and never did we get a call about it or were we informed at pick up. We only noticed that night when both of the dogs were licking the wound on the her side. The owner, did NOT pay for the vet bill nor did we even receive a call to check up on our dog. They are not concerned about dog safety. The animal control has been contacted as well as the BBB. I am waiting for a call back now from the owner of this business hopefully this review will help get the ball rolling since we still have not revieved any info other then we signed a release of liability. Also our dog was bitten on her rib area. Not her face which would have shown mutual aggression.
